David Tao/ Tao Zhe- Half a sunny day (Ban Qing Tian) lyrics 陶喆-半晴天
At Number Nine on this week's Music Chart, David Tao sings about the emotional journey of life—its wins and losses, joys and sorrows. It contrasts fleeting weather with lasting feelings, using the "half-sunny sky" as a symbol of hope, resilience, and emotional clarity.
It’s not always exciting, but there’s beauty in the small stuff.
The "half-sunny sky" reminds you to keep going, even when things aren’t perfect. In the end, love is portrayed as both the origin and the destination, grounding our identity and guiding us home, no matter how far we wander.
我贏過雨天 也有輸給過陰天

Number One on this week's TOP 10 Chinese Song Chart is from Yoga Lin You Jia, with the title Future Diary.
His song is written like future diary entries, reflecting on a few quiet, meaningful days with someone special. On May 7th, the sun was bright, and they went to a bookstore together, talking about summer and how they had no plans. On October 6th, they heard that a wedding was going on, and it sparked a deeper, unspoken question about their own relationship. On March 9th, they’re simply walking home together, like any couple, watching the sky and the lighthouse in the distance.
The last sentence sums it all, let's just hope that these future diary entries are not just hope .

Moonchild- David Tao English Translation, pinyin lyrics
David Tao Zhe's "Moonchild" is about the child who can freely travel between the moon and the universe for adventure. There is also the dilemma of the boy's survival among the aliens and brings out the meaning of "alternative existence", and also symbolizes that no matter which planet, life ultimately desires to belong, be recognized and fully accepted.
Storyline of Music Video from Youtube Description:
The story describes a little boy pilot who lives alone on the moon for a while because of an accidental forced landing of his spacecraft. He makes a signal receiver and tries to aim at the stars in the sky to find a planet suitable for habitation. Every time the signal is transmitted back to the TV on the moon, the little boy will fall into a strange and alien world. He falls into a talk show, a dance party show and a boxing ring show. The creatures in these alien worlds not only look different from the little boy, but also speak a language that the boy cannot understand. The boy faces unfriendly ridicule, the embarrassment of not being able to fit in, and even the ruthless attack of the boxer, which makes him finally fall into the vortex of the universe where time and space are disordered. The signal transmitter is lost and the scattered floating objects are scattered. As the music reaches climax, the picture of the earth displayed on the TV at the end of the MV also implies that the little boy is about to embark on the next journey...

Qiáomù zài lián zhī
(The tall trees are interconnected with branches)
It’s been a dramatic week on the music charts! Last week’s Number One, Lian Ren Wei Man by Sharon Kwan, has completely dropped off the chart, making way for a fresh face at the top.
Taking over the Number One spot is Yoga Lin You Jia’s debut track, Xie Wei Lai de Ri Ji. Interestingly, Yoga Lin had two other songs on the chart last week. This week, only Xin Lang remains in the Top 10, while Da Kong Qi de Quan Ji Shou takes a steep fall, dropping eight spots and exiting the Top 10 altogether.
Joining Yoga Lin's new hit are several other new entries. Liu Guan You, Lala Xu Jia Ying, and a special duet by Wei Jia Ying and Guo Jing all make impressive debuts. Another standout is the collaboration between Wei Li An and K-pop star Donghae — a cross-genre C-pop and K-pop fusion track — which enters the chart at Number Six.

English Translation, pinyin lyrics: LBI, Libi- Qing Ni Bu Yao Wang Ji Wo (Please don't forget me) 请你不要忘记我
Libi's new song is about someone they really cared about. They're stuck in the past, holding on to memories and hoping that person hasn't truly left them behind. Even though they know the separation wasn’t the other person’s choice, it still hurts. They just want to be remembered, not forgotten or misunderstood, and they wish things could go back to how they were—especially in the tough moments, like when it’s raining and emotions hit harder. At the heart of it, they’re just asking, “Please don’t forget me.”

English Translation, pinyin lyrics: Ryan B, Effie - No Reason (Ryan.B 、 周延英-没有理由)
Revisiting one of the more popular chinese song in the world is this song 'No Reason'. Released in 2018, this song was in the top ten of the charts on NetEase Cloud Music, QQ Music and other platforms, and has spawned multiple cover versions. After the song was released, related MVs, live versions and collaborative versions were continuously released (such as the collaboration with Banjiu in 2025), which kept the song fresh and topical.
