Ariel Tsai wrote this love song inspired by Debussy’s Clair de Lune while in Vancouver. She loved how the moon, even with its flaws, still shines because of the sun’s light—so she used that idea to shape the song. She said: "'I used this timeless classical melody as both the opening and closing of the song, symbolizing how this heartfelt moment is both the beginning and the end of the story.'"

In the music video, she and her fiancé even recreated his proposal in Taipei, under a full moon, where she said yes.
